My Idol

The Father of Indonesian Education

Ki Hajar Dewantara, also known as Raden Mas Soewardi Soerjaningrat, was a prominent Indonesian nationalist, educator, and cultural figure. He was born on the 2nd of may 1889, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, he played a significant role in advocating for Indonesia's independence from Dutch colonial rule.

After studying in the Netherlands, he returned to Indonesia and became an influential figure in the nationalist movement. Ki Hajar Dewantara strongly believed in the importance of education and cultural identity for the nation's progress. He founded the first nationalistic school, Taman Siswa, in 1922, which promoted education for all Indonesians regardless of social status.

Ki Hajar Dewantara was a prolific writer and used his literary skills to inspire and motivate the Indonesian people to fight for independence. His writings and speeches played a crucial role in raising awareness about the country's cultural heritage and the need for unity.

Throughout his life, he continued to advocate for Indonesian independence and cultural preservation. Despite facing challenges and imprisonment by the Dutch colonial authorities, Ki Hajar Dewantara's dedication to the nation remained unwavering.

His legacy lives on as he is remembered as a pioneer of Indonesian education and a symbol of national pride. Ki Hajar Dewantara passed away on April 28, 1959, but his contributions to Indonesian society and his vision for a united and independent nation continue to inspire generations.

So I idolized Ki Hajar Dewantara. Because he is the figure of the Father of National Education who greatly contributes to the advancement of education in Indonesia. With all the hard work he did during his life to advance education in Indonesia, in the end we can feel the results to this day. Thanks to his persistence in pushing for the potential of education in Indonesia and continuing to fight against the invaders, I have become even more inspired to study hard to achieve the goals I want.

Wearing School Uniform

Each school in the international has its very own regulation approximately the manner to wear. some schools require students to put on the uniform, while some permit them to put on informal clothes. besides, many people suppose that students need to put on casual clothes to experience cozy when studying. but, in my view, wearing school uniforms is better for 3 purpose under.

The first and most essential purpose is to make anyone to feel equal, and make the class much less straggler. When students are allowed to put on informal clothes, they'll put on what they prefer, and what they purchase. Many students put on highly-priced clothes, while the others put on the reasonably-priced ones. Via the wearing way, they recognise that who are rich, and poor. Therefore, it'll make a difference among students and create discrimination, which means that there are two organization that exist in a school: the wealthy and the poor. Except, wearing many types of garments can make the class seem like a multitude. For instance, few students wear crimson clothes, some put on blue garments, while some wear clothes which have many colours, and all of them have a look at in magnificence. When teachers appearance the complete class, they'll feel that it isn't so special from a huge and colourful mess. As a consequence, I think schools need to require students to wear uniforms to prevent this situation.

The second purpose is that carrying uniforms can help all and sundry understand they're students and their schools. This is very handy in many elements. For instance, if a student do a whole lot of exact matters inclusive of helping old people, or returning the matters that they have gathered, human beings will assume that the scholar are taught thoroughly, and the college that the student are studying is superb at education. Therefore, the school's recognition is unfold out, which could be very beneficial for the school. besides that, when students do bad things, their schools will realize greater easily and have suitable methods to punish them.

The third purpose is that carrying school uniforms is a lovely tradition and very that means to students. The uniform has existed for thousand years and lots of schools still maintain it to now. Put on uniforms is a beauty of schools' cultural, so there is no motive to cast off that tradition. Further, the uniforms show the prettiness of each student. Male students appearance stronger, and girl students look extra beautiful while wearing uniforms. Furthermore, carrying them in a long time make students to experience sympathetic with them, and to love their uniforms and schools more.

In conclusion, wearing school uniforms is better than wearing what students want. It isn't always best convenient, but also very vital to the school and students. besides that, it's also a stunning cultural of a school. Therefore, although few students do not like to wear them, students have to wear them, and experience pleased with them due to the fact it is the symbol of their school.

Holiday Activities

Hola! welcome back to one of the stories on my blog. In this story, I will tell you about my activities during the last 2 weeks of vacation. So, 2 weeks ago I went to visit my grandmother's house which is located in Tasikmalaya. I went there with my family by car. We departed at 6 in the morning and arrived at 9 o'clock.

When I got there my family and I were immediately greeted by my grandmother. There we talked to each other about each other's lives. I not only met with my grandmother, but with my cousins and aunts too. We also ate food our grandmother had cooked, such as fish, tofu, kupat, and sambal. It feels so good.

On the next day we have a plan to go for recreation to the swimming pool. We all left grandma's house at 6 AM and arrived at 7 AM. Before entering the pool I have prepared a swimsuit to wear. We played in the pool for about 3 hours until 10 AM. After playing in the pool we felt hungry and intended to go to one of the traditional restaurants there called Rumah Makan Saung Ranggon where there were several dishes such as grilled fish, gejrot tofu, fried rice, omelet, and so on. After lunch, we went to visit one of the viral ice cream shops, Mixue. After that we went home to grandma's house while eating ice cream in the car.

When I got there because I was tired I decided to rest by sleeping on the living room couch which was very soft and comfortable. In the evening we packed our things before going home the next day. The next day we went to Bandung at 5 AM and arrived at 08.30 AM. And when I get home, I actually still miss my family in Tasik, but if I miss it, I can still go back there on my next vacation, so don't worry about that. So that's my activity during the holidays and for the rest of the vacation time I use to stay at home with my family.

The Best Paralympic Poster Resume

I think among all the posters I've seen, the best one is Fatih's group. The poster made by Fatih, Sheika, and Zorra is a poster that discusses one of the Indonesian paralympic athletes named Leani Ratri OktilaLeani Ratri Oktila (born 6 May 1991) is an Indonesian para badminton player. She played each of the three variations of the sport (women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles) at the highest world level. In 2021, she won the first para-badminton gold medal representing Indonesia in the women's doubles SL3–SU5 event of the 2020 Summer Paralympics alongside Khalimatus Sadiyah. Oktila also won a silver medal in the women's singles event.

I chose the poster made by Fatih's group as the best because the poster has a good design, neat wording, and good color combination. So that it can make the readers more interested. Fatih's explanation of the contents of the poster is also clear and simple so that it is easy for readers to understand. Some of the positive values of Fatih's poster made me even more motivated in the future to be able to make even better posters. Several posters from other friends also added to my knowledge and inspiration in making a good poster.

Those are some of the reasons I chose Fatih's group poster as the best. Even so, it cannot be denied that the posters owned by other groups are also good and have their own characteristics. Therefore we must respect each other's work in order to create positive competition
